The National Archives / Welcome Wall / The National Archives
Production and installation of a new ‘Welcome Wall’ at the National Archives in Kew, London. The architectural cement ‘Equitone’ boards are CNC routed with lozenge shaped slots which allow all elements to hang and be rehung for future changes.
The wall accommodates 28 purpose built aluminium leaflet holders with a dark bronze finish to match the surrounding architectural colouring inlaid with brightly coloured recycled felt. 5mm thick aluminium lettering is laser cut and finished in the same way as the lettering. Seven media screen are hung with concealed cabling, surrounds are made from folded and powder coated aluminium.
