Placemaking identity for Petticoat Lane Market which has no formal address yet is a real destination. One of the oldest street markets in London open six days a week located at Middlesex and Wentworth Street.
A painted groundwork mural measuring 48 square metres is installed at the end of Middlesex Street and nine oversized planters define the pedestrian zones. The colourful patterns draw on the rich textile history of the Market. Local cafes and small business owners benefit from car free areas and seating to attract visitors. More
