The Old Town Hall in Merthyr Tydfil re-opened in 2015 following a radical redevelopment into a new arts, education, and cultural centre.
As part of the extensive exhibition redesign by Nick Bell Design and David Sudlow, we produced and installed a custom ‘stave’ display system.
The ‘staves’ are constructed from folded mild steel and feature channels for slide-in graphic panels. The system was carefully engineered to distribute weight in this Grade II* listed building, ensure secure fastenings, and accommodate electrical casings, cable routing, and provisions for audio and AV equipment.
