We are seeking a highly organised Bookkeeper & Office Manager to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of the office.
The role covers three core areas; financial administration, HR support and office management — though it's not limited to these, and there will occasionally be ad hoc duties as requested by the management team.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Admin & Bookkeeping
Full bookkeeping: Sales and Purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, VAT returns.
Managing payroll (or preparing data for outsourced payroll providers)
Monthly Financial and Project reports to management team.
Credit Control and debtor management.
Continuous improvement of processes and reporting.
 
HR & People
Managing holiday and absence records and timesheets.
Supporting recruitment admin (posting jobs, arranging interviews)
Maintaining employee records and basic HR policies
 
Office Administration
Overseeing office administration and internal systems
Managing office supplies, equipment, and workspace organisation
Answering phones and managing general enquiries
 
You will bring your own experience and strengths to complement our existing team.  We are keen to hear about any additional skills you may offer - whether in marketing & website support, photography, practical making skills, project management, or anything else.
 
Key Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in Xero (essential)
Experience with Xero Projects and Xero Payroll is a strong advantage
Solid bookkeeping experience in a similar SME environment (essential)
Confident producing project/job cost reports to support decision-making
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to maintain and improve internal systems and processes
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in both financial and operational tasks
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable liaising with suppliers, clients, and external accountant
Self-motivated, with the ability to manage time and responsibilities independently
Comfortable using Apple Mac software.

Project Manager

The position:
As Project Manager, you will ensure complex and specific client briefs are actualised by an informed and supported team. From enquiry to completion, you will liaise closely with clients and our workshop & print production teams. You will provide a clear vision, direction and maintain lines of communication, ensuring we meet client expectations and specifications, whilst remaining within budget.

You will be one of a number of Project Managers, collaborating as part of the wider senior management structure. You will complement our existing team with your individual skills and strengths, whether they are in design excellence, project management, or a wealth of making knowledge.

What we require from you:
Experienced in either exhibition or retail production, bespoke furniture making or wayfinding & signage installations, you will demonstrate an inventive design approach as well as a deep practical understanding of materials, junctions and detailing. You will produce precise and detailed CAD drawings, select suitable materials and production methods to produce jobs effectively, efficiently & beautifully.
You will have first class analytical design and problem-solving skills and a dedication to maintaining high quality working standards & producing exceptional finished products.

Terms:
This is a full-time position offered on a permanent basis subject to a successful probation period. Salary offer will vary depending upon experience.

Multi-Disciplinary Maker
Specialist in Either Woodwork or Metalwork

The Position:
As an experienced Multi-Disciplinary Maker, you will be joining our workshop with skills that complement our existing team. Your adaptability is key, as the bespoke nature of our work means that we use a variety of different materials and processes.

Once production has been completed in our workshop you may be asked to travel to site for installation. At the culmination of the project, this is where you will benefit from seeing our clients’ briefs come to fruition.

What We Require From You:
With a high level of skill in either joinery, metal fabrication or signage installations, you will demonstrate a commitment to producing high quality work. Due to the variety of projects that we undertake, we are keen to learn about other skills you have to offer. Do you have experience with CNC operation, acrylic fabrication, laser cutting, LED light installations, CAD drawing or other?

It is essential that you have experience of working from drawings and to specification. You will have keen attention to detail and a clean methodical approach to your work. You should be able to carry out tasks with minimal supervision and work to tight deadlines.

Prior experience within exhibition, graphic installations and high-end fit-out environments will be an advantage.
You will ideally have a full driving license. Any other qualifications relating to the construction industry (CSCS, IPAF, PASMA etc), would be highly beneficial.
